2025 Taylormade P790 Irons Leaked Online
The 2025 Taylormade P790 irons have been leaked online via an oversees equipment presentation. The trailer confirms a larger sweet spot for more forgiveness across the face as well as the Speed Foam Air for more distance and better gapping between clubs. No word on when these will be revealed or released just yet.

Scottie Scheffler told the world the origins of his hand injury that caused him to be out for 3 tournaments this season. The world #1 golfer was making ravioli with his wife Merideth, using a wine glass to make the dough. The glass broke and the shards went through his hands.

The PGA Tour is considering testing “distance measuring devices” on the golf course to improve pace of play on the tour. Due to recent, and long-standing, complaints about the length of tournament rounds by players and fans alike. No word on which tournaments these will be tested.

Greg Norman has been headhunted by the Prime Minister of Australia to be a member of the organizing committee for the 2032 Olympic Games in Brisbane, following his ousting as LIV Golf CEO. He will still remain with the tour in some capacity, but no confirmation on what his role will look like.

Tom Mckibbin has joined LIV Golf under Jon Rahm’s Legion XIII with a deal worth $5 million, despite Rory Mcilroy’s advice to stay with the PGA Tour. Mckibbin had recently earned his PGA Tour card for the 2025 season and has already won on the DP World Tour back in 2023, so his future is promising no matter where he goes.

Rory Mcilroy made a hole-in-one at Spyglass Hill during the first round of the Pebble Beach Pro-Am from 119 yards with a sand wedge. This marks Mcilroy’s second career ace in under one year.

The rumors are true, Grant Horvat has signed with L.A.B. Golf as his equipment sponsor for 2025. In his latest video, he starts his journey to decide which putter from the brand to use, and is currently between the OZ.1, MEZZ1, & the DF3. This is the 3rd partnership he’s acquired for his golf equipment, alongside Tacoma & Taylormade.

Peter Finch has signed with Titleist as his equipment sponsor for 2025, following Micah Morris’ deal with the manufacturer. This opens him up to work with other Titleist athletes & content creators, but has confirmed that equipment review videos will be going away.

Tony Finau and his wife Alanya gave birth to their sixth child this week. They decided to wait until birth to reveal the gender, and confirmed this will be the third girl in their family. No name has been given.

Jersey Jerry made his second simulator ace on stream this week on the 7th hole of Pebble Beach Golf Links after 618 shots and a 7-hour stream. This comes after he called it quits at the SoFi Center due to sore hands.
