Taylormade Golf Releases Rory McIlroy’s Irons

Taylormade Golf is releasing a limited run of Rory McIlroy’s RORSPROTO on irons on their website. They’ll be available to the public from May 1 through the 15th for $1500 per set and will ship in September.

Barstool Golf has announced the Internet Invitational, a creator golf tournament featuring all of the top YouTube golfers across all skill levels for a $1 million prize pool. It’ll be held August 12th through the 16th the big Cedar Lodge in Missouri.

Severe Building Damage At Oakmont Country Club Ahead of U.S. Open

A large fan structure at Oakmont Country Club for the 2025 U.S. open took on severe damage after a storm last Tuesday. The tournament coordinators said they are confident that they’ll be able to get back on track before the event in June.

Collin Morikawa Splits With Caddie

Colin Morikawa has split with his caddy JJ Jackvac ahead of the Truist Championship in Philadelphia. He’s been Collin’s only caddy since turning professional in the game. Max Homa’s Kat Joe Griner will take his place.

Pinehurst No. 4 Closes For Summer

Pinehurst No. 4 will be closing to restore its green starting May 19 through August 7th after the course did not recover from the winter. The groundskeeping management determined that the greens were not up to their standards, so they will be closing to elevate them.

Bethpage Overhauls Tee Time System To Combat Bots

Bethpage has overhauled its tee time reservation system to combat the reservation bots by introducing a $5 reservation fee for all times booked and a $15 no-show fee for those who do not come to play.
