The PGA Tour announced that the 2026 season opener, The Sentry, will not be held at Kapalua’s Plantation Course in Maui due to severe drought conditions that have hindered irrigation, course readiness, and logistics. A replacement venue has yet to be named.

Titleist has opened a new shop at Pinehurst Resort, offering fittings and premium gear near the famed No. 2 course. The concept aims to enhance the golfer experience and test a destination-based retail model that could expand to other locations.
